Hot chocolate is pure bliss in shapely pack
Aimia Foods is reshaping hot chocolate in Europe with Galaxy Hot Chocolate Bliss, a traditional hot chocolate drink. The beverage comes in a rectangular, single-wrap paperboard package from Sonoco.
The 400g “can” is a single laminated structure that incorporates paperboard and a line. The label is litho-printed in six colors on the paperboard with a varnish coating, and the finished structure is die-cut and sealed together.
The package includes a tabbed, peelable foil membrane heat-sealed to the pack for tamper evidence. A plastic overcap lets consumers reseal the package.
The hermetic container protects the chocolate’s delicate flavor and prevents the powdered mix from clumping.
