Wine bottle gets inspiration from perfume
Australian vintner Angove has repackaged its Nine Vines rose wines in stylish 750-mL glass bottles that signal the brand's premium positioning. The bottles feature a long body, deep punt in the bottom of the bottle and flint-hued glass to highlight the wine's quality and vibrant pink color.
"We needed a bottle with a more premium appearance - something that would make our customers feel as though they were picking up a high-end bottle of perfume," says Angove Marketing Manager Matt Redin.
The labels are off-set printed in multiple colors on metallized paper, and then varnished with a pearlized coating to produce a lustrous look. Suppliers for this package were O-I, AusCap, and Collotype.
