Full-body shrink sleeves are moving into a growing number of categories beyond beverages. One recent example is tennis balls.
Penn Racquet Sports offers three- and four- count PET cylindrical containers of HEAD-brand tennis balls in full-body shrink sleeves from ITW Auto-Sleeve. The sleeve provides HEAD additional billboard space to more prominently display the logo and individual product descriptions. The logo is printed in different colors to signal the various ball types.
The labels incorporate three high-opacity white layers to maximize brightness and color contrast of the UV flexo printing, which is done in seven colors. Consumers can view the balls inside the container through a small, clear window in the label.
