Consumers crave convenience, but marketers want to keep their branding front and center with consumers even after a package is opened. OfficeMax scores on both of these accounts with reams of paper packaged in film wrap with a tear strip. Opening this package is akin to opening a pack of gum, says Kimberly Nower, OfficeMax's Retail Category Manager, Paper.
"Consumers will now be able to access the reams of paper more quickly and easily," Nower says. "It will also allow for the wrapping to stay in place, which makes for better paper storage."
Coating Excellence International, Boise Cascade, ExxonMobil Chemical, and Payne Worldwide had a hand in producing the package.
